Fresh 48 sessions are taken in the hospital after birth. At-home newborn photos are typically best taken between 7-14 days of life. At this point, babies are still pretty sleepy and flexible, and they're old enough to have packed those extra pounds back on after birth. Babies are newborns until six weeks, though, so don't worry if your baby is older for our photo shoot.
Fresh 48 photos are 100% documentary-style in the hospital. For neworn photos at home, I have a portable studio that I set up in clients' homes.
